Pop Goes the Ugly Doll 1
From a review of “Pop! in the Park” in this Sunday’s Ar Dem Gaz:
Children ran all over the place. A brother and sister tossed Ugly Dolls, a line of plush toys designed to look crude and unlovable, into the air and scurried to collect them where they landed. Then they took a break so the sister could photograph the brother in a pose of mock meditation.
Hmm… I wonder who that was.
Zebra Car
Here’s Harrison’s entry for the 55th Annual Pinewood Derby.

Distinguishing features include:
*faux fur mohawk
*googly eyes mounted in metal washers
*felt ears and snout
*hand drawn stripes

And here’s our scout with his trophy for creating the “Most Unusual” derby car.

The artist would like to thank the Pinewood Derby committee, Scott for the loan of a coping saw, Dr. Josh for the loan of several vise grips, Tim for the two extra lead weights, Martha for the nickel (also used for weight), G.E. for the Klutz Goggly Eyes book, zebras, black Sharpies, and the official time keeper in the sky.
